When at the Albq., NM show this year, we were beaten by one of Milagro's beautiful 2yr. old daughters, who ended up going BDIS in both rings. When I found out Milagro was going to be available, I jumped right on it, and brought him home.
He's Beautiful! Uphill, Extremely level, with a wide rump that carries down to a wide escutcheon, and a wide rear leg set. Very angular butthere is no hockiness in this boy. He stands on excellent feet and legs, and appraised EXCELLENT(!!!!) in frontend this year. In body he really takes after his dam Mandolay pictured above, which is what I washoping for,but seems to be throwingLilac type mammary systems. What more could I want??
So far he hasimproved feet and legs andbodies with much length. Mammary systems were improved all around, with very extended smooth fores, and great, improved teat placement, not to mention great Lilac/Carrera type rear udders.
When considering breeding my herd this year, I had several sires available, and considered multiple A.I.'s, but just couldn't pass up breeding the entire herd to Milagro. Shoulder assemblies don't look like this very much anymore, nor torear ends, or rumps for that matter. He himself is linebred on extreme correctness and consistency. I could write for days and show pictures of the kind of does surrounding this buck that I think are uniquely correct. His sire is proven, his genetic full brother sired the '10 Nat'l RGCH, Cantata, and his dam is proven.
So,being four already, the whole herd went to Milagro, a strong linebreeding. I think he will cross great with the Kinfolk kids, and I anxiously await these kids in the spring!

Kinfolk is the largest yearling buck I have ever seen. Very high withered and stylish, he also excells in length of body, and he has theexcellent bone coupled with dairiness. His feet and legs point straight, and areextremely angular, the best feet and legs I have ever seen on an alpine buck.
His sire, Speed, is becoming one of the more sought after bucks of the time. His dam Sebastienne appraised 93 EEEE, milked top ten, and placed over national champions before her unfourtunate death. Speed's Sire, Revolution, is the last son of the great Rishona, (4x's Nat'l GCH) and is the sire of *B Shining Moon X-rated, a buck that is taking the nation by storm, already siring multiple National class toppers. The X-rated cross is very similar to mixing Quint and Kinfolk, somethingI am excited to do.
His Dam Kazaa needs little introduction. Though never shown at nationals, she has won all over California, placing over national GCH's. She has an extremely correct, stylish udder and strong feet and legs still at eight. Her Pasterns are the shortest I have ever seen. I could go on and on about this doe.
I am indebted to Jonathan Bland for letting me use such a fine sire. The link above is to Jonathan's Pearl Valley Website, and includes pictures of Kinfolk's relatives. He isthe sire of our entire 2011 crop of doe kids.

Quint is another buck that I am about equally as excited to use as Kinfolk, or Speed. He is a very dairy, angular, sharp, long bodied buck. His first daughters are very angular, showing extremes in length, and a very "V'd" shape looking over the top.
His Sire Freelance needs no introduction, as he is probably the most sought after alpine buck in the last 15 years. He has sired many top ten, Nat'l topping, and Ex appraising animals, including two EX93's that I know of.
His dam, Sine, is a massive doe, who was Res. Nat'l GCH,milked Top Ten, and Appraised EX93 EEEE. She is also the dam of *BShining Moon X-rated, a hot buck who has everybody in a frenzy!
Quint is the sire of our Ferrari.

Aswan's pedigree is full of the "best of the best" of the Pearl Valley Mandolay dam line. He has his sire's wide rump, and his dam's elegant body. He stands on good feet and legs, and has excellent angulation which he has thrown in his offspring. His first daughters fresh have beautiful udders with small, shapely teats. Aswan is the sire of Corvette, dam of Stingray.

Lassiter wass a very special buck to me as him and Lexus were the only twoanimals I have has access to out of the beautiful GCH Lekili who was sold to the Larsons of Harmody alpines. GCH Lekili, her dam CH Larkin, her dam GCH Mandolay, and her dam GCH Hi-fi are a dam line that is extremelyconsistent for correct front ends, and extremely wide rumps and perfect rear leg sets. Lekili has been 2 X top ten at nationals. She has a perfect balance between bone and dairyiness, and has very correct feet and legs. Her udder is beautiful, and is what I am breeding for when it comes to wide rear ends and correct front ends. She has other bucks doing good things as well. She is pictured below.
His Sire, Alexander is a relatively unused buck. He has a beautifully uddered daughter in the Pearl Valley herd. His dam is one of my all time favorite does, milking 17 pounds a day and being extremely dairy with a beautiful udder.
Lassiter himself was a beautiful buck before he unfourtunately died of bloat this summer (2010). He had a very correct front end, was extreme in length, and width of rump with excellent feet and legs, which he has thrown to his progeny. One beautiful daughter, Nigeria isa favorite of mine. Hewill be used A.I. in our herd next year. I think the line breeding on Lekili has great potential.
